FAA temporarily grounds open-door helicopter flights



Following a helicopter crash in New York City’s East River on March 11 that left five people dead, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on Friday temporarily grounded flights that have open doors and that employ tight seat restraints that could potentially ensnare passengers in emergencies.
